I have been working at the UKBRC since November 2022. My main role is to investigate the process and application of biochar which is produced by waste and a life-cycle assessment of it to achieve the Net Zero goal. I completed a Master's degree in Food Security at the University of Edinburgh in 2022; my dissertation focusing on the impact of insect waste mixed with soil on greenhouse gas emissions. This interest inspired me to my present post.
